Partner organization of the project is the University “Prof. D-r Assen Zlatarov”, Bourgas.

The University “Prof. D-r Assen Zlatarov”, Bourgas is the only state university in South-eastern Bulgaria.

The teaching at the University takes place in four faculties - the Faculty of Technical Sciences, the Faculty of Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Public Health and Health Care. It includes and three colleges – College of Technical Sciences, College of Medical Sciences and College for Tourism. The education is realized in 29 BSc and over 60 MSc programs.

Over 320 highly qualified lecturers teach at the University of them 127 are habilitated. The organization and management of the educational process in it is in line with the European requirements and criteria for a qualitative educational and research process. The university system for assessing and maintaining the quality of training has been developed.

The University "Prof. Dr. Assen Zlatarov"- Bourgas has a modern material base which is in compliance with the state requirements for high quality of education. Its mission is to provide scientific education for highly qualified and competitive specialists with higher education in the fields of pedagogical, humanitarian, economic, natural, technical and health sciences, establishing it as a leading academic, scientific and a cultural community on a regional, national, European and global scale.
